What about Saturday Night Live–where the actors/improvers also do the majority of the writing. I wonder what will happen there. As a writer at Second City, I know that without good writing there is NADA. I am for the writers, but ack I want new shows.

I definitely agree with the writers too Scott. And I also agree that less TV could be good for me! But change is still painful (at least I know missing my soap will be painful for me!)

So I’m officially on the side of the writers on this one, but more importantly I think we could all use a TV break. Some more than others, you know who you are.

So why not pick up a book, put on some music, talk to your partner or kids. Let’s make this an opportunity to enrich our lives and spend less time whinning about shows that in a month I doubt we’ll miss anyway.
